Ensign Moment!

Our former Bishop Brad Wilcox used to make Jared and I laugh over what he called Ensign Moments in his family. Now I understand. Since much of the time our family looks more like the clips on Supernanny BEFORE the family has been reformed, we have to document well the "Ensign Moments" when a picture taken could actually make an Ensign article. Here is a recent one of ours.

The kids don't seem too bothered by Davie's cry. It is a cute cry, and he's good--he can invoke the pity of any female standing within a 20 foot radius. Judge for yourself.

And Aftie learned all of her alphabet and the sounds. I'm proud of her, but can't take any credit whatsoever. I tried teaching her, but she would have none of it. Then, a net total of 15 repeated showings of Leapfrog "Letter Factory" later and she's a full on alphabet expert. Whatever works.

I love these kidsees.

He is so cute! Thanks for letting me hold him at the park! That video is hilarious for so many reasons! At first I thought Afton was saying David was saying "A" when he was crying and that was funny, but then she and Dallin worked together with poor screaming David to create an "A"! Oh yeah and then at the end, David is crying, Dallin is all smiles and Afton is holding both of their heads! Your kids are so great!

"Ensign Moments" Ah, Brad. Hey, those are adorable. And... thumbs up to the Letter Factory! My girls both learned to read at 3 yrs & those little Leap Frog toys & phonic song were a great intro into it.

By the way, I love hearing about your adventures! I think of you often now that I'm back living in Utah. We drive past the Allen's store & the Purple turtle often & we just bought season tickets to the Scera theater. All the many things that make me think of you! Is Lindon still home for your parents? Did I ever ask you if you knew Cami Turpin? (I met her while living in Maryland).

Anyway, I am TOTALLY adding you to my list so I can check up on you! Tell Mindy Hi! I miss all of you guys so much!

Our blog is thewondertwins.blogspot.com

Oh Sarah! If you parents live in Richfield you TOTALLY need to come visit someday! That is crazy! My friends parents live there too, and I think some people in our ward are close to there.

You should really come visit someday! We would love it!

Do you get to see Mindy a lot? You will have to give her our blog too! I would love to hear from her!
